五楼自拍 the Guest Speaker:

Our guest presenter,听Pat Lindsay Fletcher, was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She graduated from Queen鈥檚 High School, earned a certificate in social work from the University of the West Indies. Pat relocated to Brampton, Ontario, Canada in 1987 and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University. She had a successful twenty-five-year career as a broker in commercial insurance.

听Pat鈥檚 interest in writing has been a lifelong endeavor. She has consistently journaled since her early twenties and co-wrote and produced two plays before her retirement in 2015. After her return to Jamaica, Pat听is currently employed as a certified publishing coach with Authorpreneur Secret Academy, founded by BGU graduate Ruth Taylor. Pat published her first book entitled听 HEZEKIAH:Many Houses, One Life听in 2021. The historical/fictional family saga required extensive fact-finding and cultural exploration, leading Pat to apply her accurate research in creative writing, a passion she discovered at university. Recently, she began work (and, yes, research) on a non-fiction book,听When God Visits.
