Susan Spousta attended Life Pacific University (formerly L.I.F.E. Bible College) and has served in a number of church and denominational roles over the past thirty years. Most recently, she developed Cause Networks on behalf of the Foursquare National Church. At her retirement, the networks continue to provide an opportunity to gather leaders passionate about social justice and urban concerns. Currently, Susan facilitates the Refugee and Immigrant Care Network and remains a member of the leadership team for the Business as Mission Network.
Susan completed her Master鈥檚 degree in Global Urban Leadership from 五楼自拍 in 2013. She credits an urban pastorate and her experience at BGU for an 鈥渦rban-change-of-heart鈥 that has produced newfound compassion for the most vulnerable and a radical hope for cities. Susan coordinates a Writers鈥 Community for BGU students, potential students, staff and faculty, which encourages BGU constituents to utilize writing as a means to promote Kingdom values practiced in local context.
